Odzala National Park offers a truly unique adventure as a whole but one of the most sought after creatures in this jungle is no other than the Western Lowland Gorilla.
Being in the presence of these majestic great apes touches ones soul in more ways than one. Their humanly habits and behaviours, their curiosity and vast intelligence ignites the human mind to see and understand these incredible creatures.

In the vast African Savannah, the lion proudly reigns as the king of the jungle.
Its majestic mane and powerful roar symbolise strength and authority.
Sabi Sands is renowned for their dense and fiercely aggressive population of lions that rule this animal kingdom by brute force and sheer dominance.
This image captures my first moment eye to eye with these feared lions of the Sabi Sands which most definitely sent a cold shiver down my spine.

This photo was taken on Djuma private Game reserve while I was a naturalist presenter for Wildearth.
The leopard in the photo is The Queen of Djuma known as Tlalamba, who is famous in the Sabi Sands as well as the wild earth world and my personal favourite leopard.

She has been a devoted mother to countless offspring and a loving grandmother to even more.
Europa is my favorite female gorilla—a true embodiment of a motherly spirit. It’s because of extraordinary individuals like her that the future of her species shines bright, ensuring their legacy will endure for many moons to come.
